Garmin GPS Mount

A simple and straight forward mounting solution for the Garmin Baja Race GPS Unit.  We have been using these for several years here at CT and everyone that uses it has praised it.  Alex has been co driving in desert races since 2015 in everything from UTVs to Class 1 buggies and wanted the perfect co driver GPS mount that give everything that you need.  

The mount has 2 tubes for comfortable hand positioning, the thumb is easily reach of all of the buttons while being able to keep a firm grip in the rough stuff.  The top of the mount has 2 holes.  If desired, and what we do in house, we drill and tap those holes to use PCI PTT buttons.  One side gets a siren button and the other side is PTT for the race radios.  This means the co drivers hands almost never have to come off the mount.   

This is also adjustable in height, 2 bolts in the back allow it to be raised or lowered depending on co drivers height and preferences with 2" of travel.  An aluminum sheet metal panel provides protection and also easy access to the wiring on the back of the GPS unit while wire management positions are also included for zip ties and such.

The mounting tube is knurled for a secure grip for a tube clamp.  2 clamps are included with this.  A steel clamp is sent that can be welded to a tube for a fixed location.  The aluminum clamp serves 2 purposes, it can be used in conjunction with with the supplied steel tube clamp OR it can be used with a mountain bike dropper post.  We have used the mountain bike dropper post since 2020 and it works incredibly well but due to nearly an unlimited amount of mounting restrictions and combinations we want to supply the parts needed to get the job done and not any that will be not needed.  A dropper post can be purchased on Amazon for less than $200.

The mount does not have any branding, as sponsors and racers ourselves we understand sponsorship deals and opportunities and we didn't want to create a conflict or the ability for someone to not be able to use this due to branding.  The only logo that is in any of these components is the aluminum tube clamp.
