CT Race Worx Full Product Warranty
CT Race Worx proudly crafts all of our products by hand in the U.S.A. We build our parts to withstand the toughest of conditions and we believe that factory parts will fail the customer before our parts will, as long as they have been installed correctly and have not been modified, altered, improperly installed or otherwise not used as originally intended. Upstream component and hardware failures that cause a product to be damaged are not covered by warranty, an example of this is if a bolt backs out of an a arm pivot point, the arm pulls out and bends the other leg of the arm that is still attached. Offroad parts by nature are items that get beat up through normal use. Parts that are dented, scratched or even slightly bowed are not subject to warranty as that is normal wear. If a part is bent where critical points are not in the correct location, like an arm severely bending and the spindle mounting point is out of position, that will be covered under warranty. Example: if an arm is dented or has a slight bow but still fixtures correctly and is maintaining the 3 critical points of mounts (both suspension pivot points and spindle mounting point) then that component is not subject to warranty. Material finish imperfections from use including anodizing and powder coating are not subject to warranty, only parts that arrived and were pulled out of the box, uninstalled with a defect such as damage from shipping or imperfections from the coatings process.
We warranty parts for racers under our racer program as well. We will replace 1 full set of components purchased at no charge, if parts are needed beyond that, which is incredibly rare, will be delt with by a case by case basis.
We guarantee our parts for life to the original purchaser and will replace any defective parts after receiving the customer notification and the following:
- Date of original purchase - if through a third party we need the invoice
- Name, address, phone and email contact information
- Vehicle information (Year, Make, Model)
- Who performed the installation and approximate date of install
- Type of incident and details of part failure (location, terrain, speed, etc.)
- Were any other vehicles or objects involved?
- Photos of damage while parts are STILL on vehicle
The customer will ship the damaged part to CT Race Worx with the above information. Our staff will examine the part(s) and determine if failure was due to craftsmanship, material failure or any other factors which would be warrantied. CT Race Worx will notify the customer to discuss findings. If our part(s) are determined to be responsible, CT Race Worx will replace the part(s) at no cost to the customer. If it is found that the part(s) have been modified, altered, improperly installed or otherwise not used as originally intended, the customer shall bear all financial responsibility for replacement part(s), hardware and shipping charges. Warranty covers the original finish of the parts as they left our facility. If a part was originally purchased bare/raw and custom powder coated, the buyer shall cover costs associated with powder coating the new part. If a part was purchased powdered in an OEM color from us, we will ship the warranty part in that same color.
Returns
Our return policy applies ONLY to CT Race Worx manufactured products. Any products sold on this site but manufactured by another company are subject to the return/warranty policies of that manufacturer. Please research these products and their return/warranty policies prior to purchasing if you feel there may be fitment issues.
CT Race Worx takes a tremendous amount of pride in our hand crafted, made in the U.S.A. parts and any items returned to us as unused, not needed, duplicated order or ordered in error must be returned in the same condition as they were when they left our facility within 90 days of the date of purchase. CT Race Worx goes to great lengths to ensure that our parts are packaged in a way to protect them from drops from standing height when packaged (these are lab tested). We understand that shipping companies can be rough in the handling of packages and we pack our products accordingly. If a customer receives their product(s) in a box that appears to have been through war, please take photos from all angles and call our office for instructions immediately. Items damaged due to shipper negligence will be replaced at the cost of the shipper. CT Race Worx will handle all dealings and negotiations with the shipping company for outbound shipping issues and these dealings will not delay the shipment of your replacement parts as long as we have all of the info that we request. All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee, if parts were custom powder coated, painted or anodized, the cost of that process will not be refunded and a stripping charge for it to return bare will be deducted from the refund amount.
